As early as the 1980s, the company began to build up a distribution network in Germany. Thus, with energy, pioneering spirit and entrepreneurial vision, the solid foundation stone was laid for FOLIO GmbH, which today is one of the established and recognised suppliers of high-quality self-adhesive films.
In 2005 FOLIO GmbH moved into its new company headquarters near Hilpoltshtein. The new company headquarters was built on an area of 6,000 square metres, including first-class technically equipped training and seminar rooms for the training and further education of film applicators. Thanks to the greatly expanded storage capacities, customers can be supplied with all common types of film at short notice. At the same time, the business area of car wrapping films was accelerated in order to be able to offer a more complete range to the large number of car film customers.
According to the motto “Customer always first”, the customer and his requirements consistently form the focus of all activities. Customer support through competent advice in all project phases is a matter of course. FOLIO sees itself as a film wholesaler with outsourced production which mainly supplies specialist companies and resellers.
In 2023 FOLIO GmbH has launched a new plant in Zhongshan, China. It was a significant milestone for our company and a testament to our commitment to growth and innovation. This state-of-the-art factory, equipped with cutting-edge technology, allows us to meet the rising demand in the region and further expand our presence in the Asian market. Our new facility also underscores our dedication to sustainability, as it has been built to the highest environmental standards and incorporates resource-efficient processes.
